2018 National Tree Week

Trees Please is a project of Environment Hamilton and the Naturalists’ Club.  On September 27th, 2018, they will be kicking off 2018’s National Tree Week, Celebrating Trees Series at Eastwood Park.  They will continue to host events stretching until the end of October, 2018.  Please visit www.treesplease.org for more information.

Business Climate Action Toolkit

On Wednesday, September 19, 2018, Sustainable Hamilton Burlington (SHB) in partnership with the City of Hamilton, local businesses and community groups released their Business Climate Action Toolkit (BCAT).  The BCAT offers businesses free-of-charge information tools to lower their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions as well as become more resilient to climate change.  The toolkit gives local examples and initiatives that can be put in to action by businesses as well as a listing of funding opportunities to assist with associated costs.  Click here to visit the BCAT.

Hamilton Air Summit
